NOISE FORM

Winner of TADAGRANT at TADAEX 07 (2018)

Statement: Noise form is a tangible interface in succession of TNoise(tangible noise) made to transform noise and audio signal to  physical form in a wireframe pattern. In a way it depicts physical value of signal in a form of wireframe.

Noise and audio always had value that could be translated to brain via ears mind you; it has not been defined as physical value yet. This Physical Noise platform is made for physical representation of analog and digital audio, and noise. It senses sound from transducer and computer and produces the physical value and motion of sound, to represent the amount of noise in physical world by deconstructing and filtering an input sound to different high, mid and low level values and transfer it to physical motion and reaction.

As one of the simplest, most common and higly repetitive experiences, seating has been always considered as a core activity of human daily life. But the question here is, how can we rethink of the interaction between a seat and its user? Is it the user that should adapt himself/herself to the form of a seat, or there is another possibility which can examine an adaptable seat as opposed to an adaptable user?
As an example, there are variations of seats which can be categorized based on the fact that to what extend they are formal, or informal. Clearly, based on the defined function of the context, the formal or informal seats can be the choice of the user. However, there are situations in which this choice is to get benefits out of being at formal and informal seating position at the same time, on the same seat. “[in]formal Seat” project aims to create a dual-mode seating experience
(formal and informal), through shapeshifting a single seat.

TANGIBLE NOISE

Noise and audio always had value that could be translated to brain via ears mind you; it has not been defined as physical value yet. The Physical Noise platform is made for physical representation of analog and digital audio, and noise. It senses sound from transducer and computer and produces the physical value and motion of sound, to represent the amount of noise in physical world by deconstructing and filtering an input sound to different high, mid and low level values and transfer it to physical motion and reaction. This Project has been done all individually by myself, for machine tools I have hired Tehran's Fablab (Carbon Idea) tools and machins for fabrication of MDF (LaserCut)

ORIENTAL GEODESIC DOME (GENERATIVE ALGORITHM)

University of Tehran and Carbon Fablab

Toward different approaches for fabricating Oriental Geodesic Dome with the usage of Generative Algorithm This project include, research in theory and practice, both soft and hard, and include research for proper materials, proper algorithms, and proper implementation techniques which in this case molding and casting have been utilized The problem: In this Pavillion problem we were worked was fabricating a Dome algorithmically without the usage of any materials for connection, thus the modules stay on the basis of their physical attributes. The chanllenge here was mathematical calculation of each module and the process of fabrication of these modules, thus they could be formed in a consistent ways. My Role here was on building interaction for this pavillion (Although I have participate in general brainstorming sessions, fabrication and design session as teammate but my main focus was interactions ), The Cellular Automata project (found in this portfolio) was made with the purpose of installation in this pavillion, that consists: sensors, 2D fabrication and design and electronics. which react on the basis of individual proccessing units operated on PIR sensors and network of LED connected to a transistor and powered by both battery and power supply.

As of usage we have make out bateria growth and cultivation with this incubator, and t was lovely to work with.

CELLULAR AUTOMATA (2014)

done at University of Tehran (Fine arts department) Carbon FabLab

These are modules that has been designed on single independent module for installation theory called Cellular Automata the problem: the proposed problem to solve here was to prototype a reproducable module that process on the basis of individual processing unit which is not connected to a central system the Solution: the proposed solution, was plexiglass fabricated with PIR Sensor circuit containing photocell and its output connected to series of LEDs, that powered by battery and power supply The challenge here was mostly design a circuit that is stable on itself which construct a united/consistent interactive interface, most of the time establishing such a united and connected modules which do not have connections with other and a central system (and/or Control Unit) to control them, the arrangement is the biggest challenge.

SHEFA INTERACTIVE HOSPITAL (2009)

Submitted on behalf of IT BSc Thesis to School of Computing and Technology at Eastern Mediterranean University

Nowadays, especially in the hard times when population of people is rising in some areas of the world, hospital can no longer handle patients due to their size in number. It takes a lot of work and process for a patient to come to a hospital, get registered, wait for a cue to be seen by a doctor, and then get admitted or if not necessary just go to the pharmacy and collect medicine. The login part of the system is very modern and is made secured and simplified for the users of the system to enjoy it. Each user page is secured using multi level security and has different user interface to enhance the login. This system is been developed to enhance and make life easier for people working in hospitals, saving patients time during registration and making those registering the patient to feel more comfortable in doing their work and making sure all information entered is accurate and efficient. The doctors and nurses time is saved more during their work by knowing all information about the patient, and then during entering the patient prescriptions and result is made easier whereby is meant to be entered into the system for that permission or required to see it. The pharmacy and lab departments of the hospital enjoy and have more relax feeling of their task by knowing what is needed form them directly from the system without having any hesitation of giving out any medicine or any test. The pharmacy check the system for the prescription given to a patient and give it out, and lab department carry out test to the patient by checking the system and know what kind of test is to be given, thereby saving time and making work efficient. And the managerial department work is made more simpler by in the case of sending notifications and assigning rolls to doctors and other staffs working in the hospital, the notifications are send through the system for each staff, whether is for a doctor surgeon or for a nurse a notification is sent to their profile for them to see and understand what is required of them on daily basis. In this hospital system, administrator creates account for staffs and staff can update their accounts, hospital receptionist creates account for patients and assigns them to doctors. The patient gets service record from the receptionist for the assign doctor and gets serviced. The program also keeps patient illness record and treatment details and prescriptions assigned. Pharmacist logs into patient account form their number and view prescription, and then give it out.

SHARABLE CONTENT OBJECTS REFERENCE MODEL (SCORM) (2011)

2011 SCT EMU

SCORM or better to say Sharable Content Objects Reference Model is a way of packaging information and capable of reusing on different LMS that have the ability to run SCORM. Broadly speaking it is a collection of standards and features for web-based e-learning, and it is kind of a client side content and host system that is run-time environment which is supported by LMS. I have done a research on SCORM under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Ersun Iscioglu and give a presentation to Eastern Mediterranean University about it.
